Toni Kroos has now played 200 games for Real Madrid, a feat which only one other German player has managed for the club. Stielike played for the club between 1977 and 1985. In eight seasons he made 308 appearances, scoring 44 goals. His technique and quality in midfield helped the Whites win seven titles.
Kroos is following the example set by Stielike, and in his fifth season he is second in terms of appearances made by a German for Real Madrid. With a stunning number of of passes completed, Kroos was vital in the team winning three Champions League titles in a row as well as eight other titles.
