Kanu Nwankwo to unveil FIFA 2018 finalists’ Best Awards in London


Former Nigerian captain, Kanu Nwankwo is among the legends that will unveil the finalist of the 2018 FIFA Best awards.
The former Arsenal striker was named alongside retired football stars, Sol Campbell, Peter Schmeichel and Kelly Smith.
FIFA on Wednesday announced the legends who will unveil the nominees for the awards through their official Twitter account @FIFA.com.
The World football governing body earlier announced a ten-man shortlist for the various award categories.
“Confirmed: FIFA Legends to take part in Monday’s #TheBest awards finalists’ announcement in London,” the statement read.
Kanu and the legends will announce the three finalists in each category on Monday, September 3 in London.
The main award ceremony is scheduled to return to London on Monday, September, 24 and Kanu’s former Super Eagles’ teammate, Emmanuel Amuneke is among the judges to select the eventual winners.
