Julen Lopetegui signed 3 years deal as Real Madrid head coach

Julen Lopetegui has been appointed the new Real Madrid head coach just weeks after committing his future to Spain ‘s national team.
Lopetegui penned down a deal that will keep him at Santiago bernabeu until 2020 on May 22 but Real Madrid have swooped for his services and he has agreed to join the Spanish giants after the World Cup.
The 51-year-old was part of Barcelona player for three years but will now take charge of their bitter rivals.
This is a surprise move, with Lopetegui not tipped as favourite among the host of managers linked with the vacant position since  Zinedine Zidane  part ways days after Madrid’s 3-1 victory over Liverpool in the Champions League final.
Arsene Wenger, Antonio Conte and Guti were among prominent coaches believed to replace Zidane but Lopetegui has overtook the trio to one of the most coveted jobs in world football.
Lopetegui, who has been Spain senior football team coach for the past two years, has agreed a 3-year contract at the  Santiago Bernabeu.
