John Terry could feature against Liverpool as scan shows no ankle fracture

Chelsea have received a boost with the news that John Terry has not suffered a fractured ankle.
The defender rolled his left ankle during Sunday’s 2-2 draw at Swansea and left the Liberty Stadium on crutches.
There were fears the 35-year-old may have suffered serious damage, but an MRI scan on Tuesday morning showed only bad bruising.
Terry is now in a race against time to be fit for Friday’s visit of Liverpool.
Should he miss out, David Luiz is on standby to make his second debut for the club after his £32m deadline day move from Paris Saint-Germain.
