Zlatan Ibrahimovic is set to sign a one-year contract extension with Paris Saint-Germain, according to La Gazzetta Dello Sport.
The Swede’s contract is up at the end of the season and he has been linked with a move away from the club, even suggesting himself that this will be final year in France.
Premier League clubs Chelsea, Arsenal and Manchester United have all been linked with the forward, but he is set to perform a U-turn and commit himself to Laurent Blanc’s men for another year.
Thereafter, he is expected to move to Qatar, where he would become an ambassador for the World Cup in 2022.
The 34-year-old’s wages will remain at the same €12 million per year.
