 ENG 🆚 ESP FT Review
England marched into the second half with steely determination their faces and immediately scored as they doubled their lead in the 48th minute with Hardy heading in a cross sent in by Henderson. Spain managed to fight back after the goal but to no avail until the 89th minute where Aspas jumped in to give “la Roja” a lifeline by firing a goal off the post and into the net. The referee added five minutes of extra time and Spain came alive. Alarcón suddenly silenced the home crowd after a great play by Isco in order to crash the equaliser into the back of the net in the 90+6th minute and give Spain a draw to celebrate tonight.
FT score: 2-2
