After an entertaining 2nd half, Arsenal and PSG have played out a 2⃣-2⃣ draw that will do the home side absolutely no favours as PSG take control:msucle: of the group. A win in the final matchday will ensure passage as Group leaders for them. After both sides went into the break level at 1-1, it was the Gunners who took the attack to the opposition and deservedly took the lead, though fortuitously, in the 60th minute. Jenkinson’s low cross into the box sparked a bit of pinball in the PSG box and Marquinhos’ clearance rebounded straight off Verratti’s shin and went into the goal.
Unai Emery’s men grew into the game and got their equaliser when Lucas Moura’s headed in a Ben Arfa corner, thanks to a slight deflection off Iwobi. PSG could have won the game late on but for the profligacy of Cavani who missed 2 sitters.
